The Sounds of the Season and a Special Hour with Tony Bennett

Hey smooth people:

On our show this week we break open some new holiday jazz.  The Trippin' and rhythm Record label has released a new compilation CD titled "The Very Best of Christmas."  It features new Christmas Jazz from artists signed to the label, including: Gregg Karukas, Oli Silk, Cindy Bradley, Tim Bowman, Jaared and Paul Hardcastle.  It is rare that a CD will come out where every single track is good, but this one does.  So, I'll play all ten tracks for you to hear.

In hour #2, we will hear a special feature with Tony Bennett who talks about singing songs from the Great American Songbook.  Lots of great stories and music too.

I'll also have smooth jazz news, celebrate some birthdays and more.

So I hope you can join me as we get ready to kick off the holidays with jazz this week on Smooth Jazz USA.

The show airs live on The Global Voice, Tuesday, 0UTC or Monday, 6pm central, 7pm eastern.

The show is also simulcast on Radio For Life at the same time.

Have a super Monday and I'll see you on the computer radio tomorrow evening!

Stay Smooth

Interviews and music on Smooth Jazz USA tonight

Hey smooth people:

The time it is changing. With the U.S. moving back to Standard time
this weekend, most likely the local airing time of our show will be
one hour earlier.

So it's still 0UTC Tuesday, but 6pm central, 7pm eastern, 5pm mountain
and 4pm pacific.

On the show this week, it's kind of a special replay. I received an
e-mail a few weeks ago from a listener that had missed some of the
interviews I have done over the past few months. So I figured, they
were interesting and why not air them again?

So that is what is happening on the show tonight.

We'll have several great interviews I have done along with music by
the artists.

So here's who you will hear on the show tonight:

Joyce Cooling

Author Carmen Ruben who wrote a cool book for kids about jazz.

Jeff Golub

Joe McBride

and Peter White.

I'll also have smooth jazz news and more.

So I hope you will be able to join me tonight for two hours of great
music and information on Smooth Jazz USA.

The show will also be simulcast on Radio For Life at
http://www.radioforlife.net

It's a listening experience!

Stay smooth!
