Saxophones take over the show to conclude the big month of Saxtember

Hey smooth people:

Hard to believe that Saxtember is almost over, but it is. A month
ago, we started on August 31st with a complete show with nothing but
saxophone players. Well, we are going to end the month of Saxtember
in the same way we started. yes, two more hours of great sax!

You will hear many of your favorites including: Warren Hill, Candy
Dulfer a new song from the Sax Pack, Euge Groove, Dave Koz and many
more.

I'll have smooth jazz news,and as much music as allowed by law.


Special shows coming up:

October 5th (6th UTC time)
Guitarist Jeff Golub will be my special guest. He's got a new CD out
called "I'll Play The Blues For You." I'll talk with Jeff about his
career and the new CD which takes him in a little bit of a different
direction. Then, we'll keep the blues alive for the rest of the show
with Blues flavored Jazz. You will hear people such as: Wes
Montgomery, Joe Sample/Randy Crawford, Brian Simpson, Worldport and
many more.


October 12th (13th UTC time)
I am so excited to announce that guitarist Peter White will be my
special guest on the Columbus Day edition of our show. Peter has a
new CD out called "Good Day." We'll talk with him, play music and
just get to know the guy who is considered the most played smooth jazz
artist.

Smooth Jazz USA Tonight!

Hey smooth people:

On the show tonight, lots of new music and a recording of some way
cool live performances.

We will check out tracks from the new CD by saxophonist Najee titled
"Mind Over Matter." Plus, country singer Willie Nelson has a new jazz
CD called "American Classic." It features several jazz artists
including Joe Sample and Diana Krall. We will check out a couple of
tracks. Kind of makes you go, Hmmmm!

Also, the Pizza Express Jazz club in London sees many big names in
smooth jazz perform their. I'll share with you some audio from Steve
Oliver, Michael Lington and Bob Baldwin who all performed there
recently.

Smooth Jazz news, artist birthdays and a new number one song this week
will make up the rest of the show.


This programming note, on October 5, (Tuesday the 6th 0 UTC) I will
welcome as my special guest, guitarist Jeff Golub who has a new CD
titled "I'll Play the Blues For You." I will talk with Jeff about his
music career and the new CD. Then, the rest of the show will feature
blues flavored jazz. You will hear from people including: Lee
Ritenour, Blake Aaron, Joe Sample/Randy Crawford and many more.


On Monday, october 12th, I am so excited to be able to tell you that

Smooth Jazz E-news for Saxtember 14th

Hey smooth people:
 
We are a little more than 24-hours away from another Smooth Jazz USA program.  On the show this week, I will feature trax from the new CDs from Drew Davidsen, "Around Again" and trumpeter Rick Braun "All It Takes."
 
Plus, just arriving in the mailbox is the new single from The Sax Pack, "Can't Helpm Myself," you'll hear it first on our show tomorrow night.
 
I'll have smooth jazz news, celebrate some birthdays and yes, we've got a new number one song again.

Once each quarter, I plan to do a special show.  On October 5th, (the 6th UTC time) I will welcome as my special guest, guitarist Jeff Golub who has a new CD titled "I'll Play the Blues For You."  We'll hear trax from that new CD, talk to Jeff about his career and the new CD and then feature blues flavored jazz for the rest of the show.
