Smooth thoughts

It's been a while since I shared some smooth thoughts and just feels like
time to do it again.

On June 11th, I had the chance to see Joyce Cooling in concert. It was a
fantastic show and I really didn't want it to end. Not only did she keep me
spellbound for nearly two hours, she's a wonderfully friendly and sincere
person.

I heard from a couple of people who went to see her the next night in Kansas
City at Jazz In the Woods and she blew them away as well.

So if ya ever get a chance to see Joyce cooling in concert, you better do
it.

And I keep hearing that there's not much interest in smooth jazz. If that's
true, then why do I have a stack of CDs almost a foot tall on my desk of new
releases? So many artists are releasing new material and it's really hard
to get it all in. But I'm trying.

Well, for now, that's the way it is.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

I'll see you on the radio soon I hope!

Steve
