ALL THAT JAZZ AND CAROL ARCHER JOIN FORCES TO FILL SMOOTH JAZZ FORMAT VOID

-- Prominent radio promotion firm All That Jazz, Inc. and celebrated music journalist
Carol Archer announce the formation of a new Smooth Jazz editorial column, "The Straight
Skinny."
The weekly column will debut Tuesday, August 4 on the All That Jazz website,
www.allthatjazzinc.com

"The Straight Skinny" will address the challenges facing the Smooth Jazz format with
insight from a diverse cross-section of the industry and will spotlight artists and
music that comprise the heart of the format.
When asked about her mission, Archer states, "My goal is to provide reporting and
analysis to increase the effectiveness and provide inspiration and courage through
editorial discussions, success stories and
thought-starters. I will probe the best and the brightest in the industry to uncover
strategic thinking that is
critical to radio success."
All That Jazz Vice President Jason Gorov continues, "Smooth Jazz lost an important
voice following Carol's departure from R&R.
We saw the need to bring a sense of community back to the format. Our combined
dedication to Smooth Jazz and Carol's commitment to journalistic excellence made
the move to revive her
column on our website an effortless decision."
